Dr. El Ghaoui provides some of the latest advances in dental technology, including digital x-rays, dental implants, and tooth-colored restorations.

Dr. El Ghaoui earned her doctorate from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. She has two children, and in her free time enjoys an active lifestyle in our local community.

Dr. El Ghaoui is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Contra Costa Dental Society.

Sheila Dhigans, R.D.H.

Sheila has over 20 years in the dental field and is known for her gentle and thorough touch. She is not only friendly but can make her patients feel at ease in the chair. Her experience includes working in periodontal offices as well as general and family practices. Sheila can inspire patients and educate them to feel comfortable with any of your dental needs. After working for the U.S. Coast Guard, she has resided in private practices over the last 15 years in Berkeley, California. She also works with many small businesses and dental offices consulting and teaching communication and resolution as well as team-building, management and incorporating passion in a practice.

Our hygienist is a passionate person with a love for people, the ocean, and her three children.

Miyoko, R.D.H.

Miyoko has been practicing dental hygiene since she graduated from Diablo Valley College in 1972. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Science from San Francisco State.

She has worked in private dental offices in California and Oregon. She has been at the Tara Hills Dental office since 2002 where she started with Dr. Boyce.

Miyoko takes continuing education courses to keep abreast of current trends in the dental profession. She would like eveyone to have a positive dental experience. Her main goal is prevention and she gets great satisfaction when patients have good check-ups and improve their health.

Miyoko is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, California Dental Hygienists Association and Mt. Diablo Dental Hygiene Society.

Miyoko has three grown daughters. her husband is a teacher. She likes getting together with family and friends. Miyoko enjoys the outdoors, the garden and traveling.

Jessica Diaz, RDA

Jessica started dental assisting 11 years ago. Not only have her skills developed throughout the years, but so has her passion for dentistry. She is currently in the process of obtaining her RDA-EF2 license which will make her board certified to place permanent crowns and fillings.

Jessica is a proud wife and mom. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, and spending time with family & friends. Jessica recently moved to Pinole and is loving the sense of community it has to offer. She is looking forward to meeting you!

Yvette Smith, Dental Assistant

Yvette was born and raised in Berkeley, Ca. She began her career as a business file clerk and then decided to explore the dental field. She attended Bryman College for dental assisting. Yvette began working in a dental office in San Francisco in 1980. She has always had a passion for helping others and being in dentistry has been a fullfillment of that passion.

Yvette enjoys gardening, star gazing, black and white movies, walking her friend Oliver, going to church and cooking! She enjoys life and always has a smile on her face!
